Hello and Welcome to the Kyabra Learning Centre, Kentucky, NSW, Australia, blog site.

Kyabra Learning Centre (also known as Kyabra Station) is just off the New England Highway, Kentucky, NSW 2354, Australia. It is situated 17kms south of Uralla on the New Enland Highway between Armidale and Tamworth. Nearest shopping is half an hour away, Uralla 15mins away with a convenience store and Tamworth approximately 1hour away.

We desire for Kyabra to be a Learning Centre that practically applies and demonstrates the principles of Divine Truth in action. A place any person who wants to learn and desires to love people and the environment is welcome to come and do so. A place where diverse flora and fauna are abundant, healthy and supported. A place that demonstrates the links between soul development (us) and the environment.

We are interested in learning, experimenting, exploring, investigating and discovering God's Laws and how God does things and then experiment on the land doing them God's way. We strongly suspect that our souls are hugely powerful and affect everything we do. We are noticing this already on the land and we feel if we understand it more (at a soul level, not just intellectually) that we will be able to bring the land in our care in to harmony with love and truth much more rapidly. We are often challenged by this desire and we do not always act in harmony with love or truth, we feel we are learning and that we are in transition from 'how it has always been' to doing things God's Way.

We feel we are learning, and at this time that we know very little about God's Way, but what little we have experienced and investigated both intellectually and emotionally we find super exciting and we feel passionate that it is a way that can create a different world that is totally loving and beautiful! Our desire to know and love God and live Divine Truth has changed our lives already and we feel we have merely stepped to the edge and taken a look. Imagine what it will be when we dive headfirst in and embrace it with all our heart and soul! That is exciting!

Kyabra Learning Centre, (Kentucky NSW), is a fourteen thousand acre property that has in the past been a fully operational sheep and cattle station, running up to 25,000 head of sheep and 1000 head of cattle (with varying numbers at different times). The land has been used for many years and feels tired. The original bushland has been logged out long ago and the landscapes and climate has changed over time. There is erosion  mineral deficiencies, water and fertility issues etc. There are so many wonderful, diverse and varied opportunities for heaps of different projects to demonstrate loving ways to heal the land and the environment. We feel that the landscape now is not how it used to be and that with love and our individual soul development that it can be vastly different.

We have a friend, Tikalaka or fondly known as Tik (now in the spirit world), who used to live here some 300 years ago who has shown us images of what it used to be like and given us insites into how it used to be; A temperate rainforest that never experienced drought, or flooding. It used to be teeming with colourful flora and fauna - insects, reptiles as big as people, bird and animal life. The flora was as colourful and diverse as the parrots and birds are, they were camouflaged and protected by the environment and didn't need to worry about predators as they do now. The environment was much more in balance and harmony. We feel that it is possible to bring back this harmony and balance, colour, diversity and wonder, with some human effort but mainly by developing our soul condition by receiving God's love. We feel that the environment reflects people (us in this case) so if we are more loving so too will the environment be.

We have realised since learning about Divine Truth that many of the practices that we have partaken in in the past have been out of harmony with Love so we are now in a transition of bringing the land and animal husbandry into alignment with the principles of Divine Truth and Love.

We still have spasmodic cattle agistment in some of the back country and run many sheep which we are looking at changing. We will take the sheep numbers down and work through soul development and our own efforts to remedy sheep from the highly domesticated, human reliant and dependant animals they are now hopefully back to the independent animal God designed them to be*.

We feel that it is possible to give to the land and create greater fertility while still running a productive business if we desire to. We are experimenting with this and in transition from more traditional ways of agriculture to discovering all sorts of new and interesting things in creating God's Kingdom on Earth.

We are really excited about the possibilities and hope that through our own personal growth, experimenting and what we do here we can be a demonstration about how to practically bring farming and agricultural practices into harmony with God's Way and Love.

We hope that if you are interested in a new way of doing things, or just love experimenting that you may find something here that inspires you. We would also love to hear about your ideas and observations that you have around your own experiments if you desire to share them!

We hope you enjoy engaging the process of growth!

Below are some links to YouTube videos and sound files that we recommend listening to and are prerequisites if you desire to visit, volunteer your time or come along and partake in any of the learning projects that take place at the learning centre, now or in the future. We suggest you listen to or watch them so you understand the underlying principles that we are learning to engage and the ethos behind what we are aiming to do. It is also a wonderfully inspiring and soul stretching experience which we are excited about!

We are also coming across many people who are passionate about the environment (some who have been for a long long time) and have found innovative and interesting ways to do things. Some you may be familiar with and others you may not be. We are finding that the more open and willing to change our ideas around things the more we are finding out. We are realising that we know very little about very little but can learn a heap about a lot if we are passionate and open to doing so.

God is the most amazing teacher and has put in place everything to teach us if we desire to learn!

We would love the Learning Centre to be a place where passionate people with different passions and desires can come and create, learn and give to others and the land showing anyone who has a desire to know how to do the same thing the world over.

Donations

All Learning Projects and Events are run free of charge at the Kyabra Learning Centre (Kentucky, NSW). We believe that anyone who wants to learn and find out about new ways of doing things to love and give to the land, and each other, and find out more about the principles of Divine Truth ought to have that opportunity (we do not claim to be experts on Divine Truth but we would love to point you in the direction to find out more for yourself - www.divinetruth.com).

At this time we are grateful to the Namoi CMA and Land Care  for various government grants that are covering partial costs for planting and regeneration projects. We cover the costs for the majority of the projects that take place here. We are most grateful to our neighbours (for dead matter - fallen and felled logs/wood) and Bunnings Armidale for cardboard bundles.

If you want to donate or give gifts to the Learning Centre you are more than welcome.

See Donations static page for more information and how to make donations.

Please feel free to contact us via email if you desire about anything you read or see on this blog, or if you have any questions at all about what we are doing or desire to do.
